O objetivo deste livro é avaliar a influência das caraterísticas do diretor da empresa na avaliação do clima empresarial nos Camarões. Utiliza um modelo de regressão multinomial aplicado a uma amostra de 12.062 empresas extraídas da base de dados do segundo Recenseamento Geral das Empresas nos Camarões (RGE-2).No final do estudo, conclui-se que: (i) os gestores com um nível de educação elevado (BAC +2 e mais) têm uma maior probabilidade de avaliar o clima empresarial como bom; (ii) os gestores que estão na sua empresa atual há pouco tempo (três a oito anos) têm uma menor probabilidade de avaliar o clima empresarial como bom; (iii) os gestores estrangeiros não africanos têm uma maior probabilidade de avaliar o clima empresarial como bom.Finalmente, verifica-se que as caraterísticas do gestor fornecem uma boa previsão da avaliação do clima empresarial nos Camarões, com 55%.
