O ovo de codorniz, por outro lado, está recentemente a ganhar popularidade devido às suas várias potencialidades terapêuticas. Há muitos testemunhos documentados das propriedades curativas do ovo de codorniz. Por conseguinte, este estudo foi concebido para avaliar os possíveis efeitos benéficos do pré-tratamento com uma solução de ovo de codorniz na hepatotoxicidade induzida pelo acetaminofeno em ratos. Foram administradas soluções de ovos de codorniz de concentrações variáveis durante um período de tempo antes de induzir lesões hepáticas com uma sobredosagem de acetaminofena em ratos. Depois disso, foram investigados alguns parâmetros que normalmente indicam lesões nos tecidos. Os resultados são interessantes!
