Every person has been given two very important dates in their lives. The first is the year of their birth. The second is the year of their death. It is that 'dash' that this book is all about and what this author has experienced in his current long life of eighty-three years and still going strong.I will take you along on my journey of all the things I have done from crazy to dumb as a forward to maybe inspire you or people you know to do some of the same. The incredibly difficult ride for young people today is going to be tough, and the more opportunities opened to them might just help them have a rewarding life as good or better than mine.I survived almost being killed in a tornado, flipped a speedboat, and came close to drowning, invented water skiing on a ping-pong paddle, sold tract homes for a developer when the interest rate topped 18 percent, and had prospective buyers camp out in my sales office parking lot for a week waiting for a new phase of homes to open for sales.I also moved a lot after leaving Wisconsin and lived in San Diego, Orange County, Texas, Colorado, and Idaho.I have known so many wonderful and great people in my long life from family, aunts and uncles, cousins, teachers, musicians, and students that if I received my last date tomorrow, I will have had a very fulfilling and wonderful life!
