Doppelaufgaben sind für jeden Menschen eine wichtige Bereicherung. Mit zunehmendem Alter wird diese Aufgabe jedoch enorm beeinträchtigt, was insbesondere bei älteren Frauen zu Störungen der täglichen Routineaktivitäten führt. Im Rahmen dieser Forschungsarbeit wurde untersucht, wie sich dies auf das Gleichgewicht und die Mobilität auswirkt, wenn man das übliche Schuhwerk trägt oder barfuß geht, damit bei der Rehabilitation in klinischen Einrichtungen entsprechende Änderungen vorgenommen werden können. Die Anzahl der Stürze kann reduziert werden, wenn sich das Gleichgewicht und die Mobilität mit zunehmendem Alter verbessern, wodurch die Kosten für die Gesellschaft gesenkt werden und ältere Frauen somit ein glückliches Leben mit verbesserter Lebensqualität führen können.
