In meinem Buch wird argumentiert, dass bewährte Kampfsporttrainingsmethoden, die auf Defensivtaktiken angewandt werden, das Selbstvertrauen der Beamten in Stresssituationen erhöhen und dadurch die Zahl der durch Überreaktionen der Beamten verursachten Vorfälle übermäßiger Gewaltanwendung verringern.
