In der vorliegenden Studie sollen die Handelsauswirkungen des Wirtschaftsabkommens zwischen dem Iran und der Türkei auf die Produktion, den Export und den Import des Agrar- und Industriesektors mit Hilfe eines dynamischen GTAP-Modells (Global Trade Analysis Project) für den Zeitraum 2011-2025 untersucht werden. Als Anwendung des Modells wird ein präferenzielles Handelsszenario für den Iran in Übereinstimmung mit dem Abkommen simuliert. Die Ergebnisse des Abkommens zeigen, dass im Allgemeinen fast alle Sektoren ihre Produktion im Jahr 2025 steigern werden. Die Stärkung dieses präferenziellen Handelsabkommens durch beide Länder kann das Produktionsniveau während des Untersuchungszeitraums für beide Länder erhöhen. Daher wird die Beteiligung des Irans an einer Handelsvereinbarung mit der Türkei empfohlen.
