Die empirische Forschung konzentriert sich dabei häufig auf die Nutzungsmotive und die Wahrnehmung von Kindern und Jugendlichen, da gerade hier die Sorge besteht, diese könnten durch derartige Formate negativ beeinflusst werden.Diese Arbeit konzentriert sich auf das von Paus-Haase et al identifizierte Rezeptionsmuster „Suche nach Orientierung' und untersucht, wie sich diese Suche manifestiert und welche Verhaltensweisen Rezipienten zeigen.
