Patricia es una ingeniera de telecomunicaciones española becada por la Unión Europea en Bélgica. Alocada y despreocupada ha sido siempre, pero llevar tres años viviendo en el siglo XVIII español bajo la identidad de doña Eva de Armenaga le ha hecho perder la esperanza de ser recuperada y volver a su siglo. Su moral está por los suelos y para colmo se ve inmersa en un mar de intrigas políticas y palaciegas que la llevan a ser acosada por un espía americano y otro español dentro de la corte de Carlos IV.¿Qué le puede pasar a alguien que viaje en el tiempo?, ¿y si además se queda atrapado allá donde haya ido?, ¿y si le suceden cosas altamente improbables, fuera de toda lógica, como que su vida parezca seguir un guion que ya conoce? ¿Puede aceptar eso un cerebro estructurado, sensato, racional, poco imaginativo?Para ayudarse a sobrevivir sin volverse loca por la desubicación y recordarse a sí misma que pertenece a otra época, su mente va asociando las insospechadas situaciones por las que va pasando y los sentimientos que le producen a la letra de canciones que conoció en su otra vida, la del siglo XXI.
