La arqueología fue la vocación del autor de este libro desde niño, y ahora es su profesión. Unos días antes de cumplir cuarenta y cuatro años decidió emprender una excavación arqueológica en el centro de su mundo interior para documentar su alma. Dio este paso animado por la lectura de las obras de escritores trascendentalistas, como Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau o Walt Whitman.Al igual que hicieron los mencionados pensadores, el autor de este libro se acerca a la naturaleza para conocer el espíritu de su ciudad natal y al mismo tiempo explorar su propia alma. Todo lo que percibió, sintió y pensó contemplando los paisajes de Ceuta lo fue plasmando en sus libretas. Estos apuntes -acompañados de las fotografías que fue captando mientras paseaba por la naturaleza ceutí- son los que se recogen en este libro. En ellos encontrarán experiencias significativas, sensibilidad, emociones profundas y pensamientos elevados que buscan ensanchar, liberar y despertar el alma de los lectores, así como estimular las aspiraciones y las meditaciones sobre otras dimensiones de la realidad.Esperamos que la lectura de este libro les anime a buscar los preciados tesoros arqueológicos que todos llevamos dentro y que debemos documentar con esmero, para luego compartirlos con los demás, como ha hecho el autor de esta obra
