The Army and Navy Chronicle published from 1835 to 1842, and with a second run that went until 1844, was the Army Times of Antebellum Jacksonian expansion of the United States.  During that time, the country became embroiled in a war that engaged half the United States Army in Florida, Volunteer Militias of several states, support and cooperation with the Navy and Marine Corp, in an attempt to remove the Native Tribes from Florida during the Second Seminole War.
