It’s accepted as a simple matter of fact, without putting Ari’s gender under scrutiny. Their stable and loving family affirms that Ari is both safe and supported to be expressively and uniquely themselves. This story’s rhyme, meter, humour, and dialogue make it fun to read aloud, particularly at bedtime!
