Die mikroökonomische Theorie und die in ihr verwendeten analytischen Methoden stellen in der heutigen Wirtschaftstheorie das Kernstück der analytischen volkswirtschaftlichen Theorie dar. Diese Aufgabensammlung ist ein vorlesungsbegleitendes Übungsbuch für eine Lehrveranstaltung der Mikroökonomik im wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Hauptstudium. Ausführliche Musterlösungen zu allen Übungsaufgaben geben dem Studenten die Möglichkeit, die Techniken zu erlernen, und jedem Examenskandidaten eine letzte Überprüfungsmöglichkeit, ob er die erforderlichen Kenntnisse zum Bestehen einer Diplomklausur besitzt.
