L’enseignement des langues est un processus assez difficile et complexe qui nécessite un travail minutieux et assidu. Les enseignants dans ce domaine s’efforcent toujours de trouver des moyens de rendre l’apprentissage des langues agréable et attrayant pour les apprenants. Depuis de nombreuses années, différentes activités, jeux et histoires intéressantes aident les professeurs de langues à atteindre cet objectif. Cependant, au début des années 1980, la technologie a fait son apparition dans les salles de classe avec des films, des téléviseurs et des laboratoires de langues équipés de cassettes vidéo et audio. Avec le développement de la technologie, de nouveaux programmes ont été mis en place afin de créer un environnement plus interactif et plus intéressant pour les apprenants et les enseignants que celui qui existait auparavant dans les salles de classe traditionnelles.
