Le trouble d’anxiété de séparation (TAS) touche fréquemment l’enfant pré-pubère et peut avoir des effets négatifs sur sa vie. La thérapie comportementale et cognitive (TCC) est essentielle pour traiter le TAS, impliquant l’exposition graduée et la restructuration cognitive avec les parents. Cette étude illustre l’application de la TCC en clinique.Cette étude décrit la prise en charge par TCC d’une fille de 10 ans souffrant de TAS à l’Hôpital Mongi Slim (Tunis). Les objectifs incluaient l’exposition in vivo, la relaxation, et le réajustement des pensées liées à la séparation. L’intervention visait à diminuer l’anxiété et à renforcer l’autonomie de l’enfant, avec une évaluation de l’anxiété avant et après la thérapie.La thérapie a réduit l’anxiété et amélioré l’autonomie de l’enfant, lui permettant de mieux gérer les séparations et de participer à des activités sociales. Une restructuration cognitive a été nécessaire pour traiter ses craintes excessives. Un suivi a été suggéré pour maintenir les progrès.La TCC constitue une approche efficace pour traiter le TAS chez les enfants, comme le confirme la littérature récente.
