’A Apocolocyntosis, sátira do século I d.C. em que o escritor latino Sêneca ridiculariza a apoteose frustrada do defunto imperador Cláudio, nunca despertou tanto interesse no Brasil quanto agora. De 2020 para cá, pelo menos três traduções da obra chegaram ou estão por chegar ao público brasileiro: a de Frederico de Sousa Silva, publicada pela editora Kotter; a de Luiz Queriquelli, Miguel Mangini, Maria Helena Adriano e Pedro Heise, a ser lançada em breve pela Iluminuras; e a de Camila Machado Reis e Rafael Guimarães Tavares Silva, publicada pela Revista Codex. Camila M. Reis, uma das autoras desta última tradução, concebeu a ideia de transformar sua tradução em HQ (história em quadrinhos) e se juntou à artista plástica Ana Luiza Marigo para realizar esse projeto. O trabalho de Marigo é primoroso, demonstrando sua versatilidade em várias técnicas: colagem, aquarela, desenho livre com lápis de cor e canetinha hidrocor, entre outras.
