Im vorliegenden Buch wurde versucht, die Regelkartenmethoden anhand praktischer und betrieblicher Beispiele zu erläutern, damit die Verfahrens- und Aufbereitungsingenieure die geeignete Methode für ihren eigenen Prozess auswählen und anwenden können. Die Daten, die in den in diesem praktischen Buch vorgestellten Beispielen verwendet werden, wurden von mehreren mineralverarbeitenden Betrieben im Iran während der 15-jährigen Tätigkeit der Autoren in der Eisen-, Kupfer-, Blei- und Zink-, Kohle- und anderen Mineralienindustrie gesammelt. Zusätzlich zur manuellen Analyse mit Microsoft Excel wurden die Daten auch mit Minitab v.16 analysiert. Alle Beispiele wurden visuell und Schritt für Schritt gelöst, wenn auch mit einem sich wiederholenden Ansatz, so dass die Studenten und Ingenieure die ähnlichen Beispiele leicht lösen können.
