Foi projectada, fabricada e medida uma antena reflectora reconfigurável de microstrip linearmente polarizada de banda X com ângulo de orientação do feixe até 16°. A célula unitária consiste num patch de microfita na camada superior e numa ranhura de comprimento variável no plano de terra. A célula unitária projectada, com dimensões de 15 mm x 15 mm, proporciona uma gama de fases de reflexão de 153°. A matriz tem 64 elementos com diferentes fases de coeficiente de reflexão sob a forma de uma matriz plana. Um protótipo de matriz de reflexão foi medido numa câmara anecóica de campo distante na NUST, dando um ganho de 14dB e uma relação axial>20dB na frequência de funcionamento de 10GHz.
