On the Srimad Bhagwat Gita hundreds of commentaries have been written. Sitting on a railway station platform as a young boy with parents, the author has memories of daze and talk with his father that included that almost every person who understood a little of the Hindu thought process always wrote on a Tika, or a commentary on it atleast.Later, as a youth, a Ramakrishna Mission bookstore allowed a gateway to the ideas of a Prasthantrayi - or the departure of a ascetic lifestyle with three sutras of books, Vedas, Upanishads and the Srimad Bhagwad Gita. I write this text with no complete knowledge or even with a view to use all of what I know. But a simple, concise, railway or airport transit flip through which shows practical, nuts and bolts, and raw onions to cook or bake or swallow whole. If you prefer, skip the covers, and the onions! The text talks about key ideas that percolated over the years and about 19 commentaries I have chanced upon at the bibiliography that are importannt. Then, the other important Sanskrit, Hindi, Marathi texts.I pray they come of use and help people understand the paths I found, and lead better ones too. Infact, I preach or propound nothing but what I see and feel everyday, as an experience and as a metaphor when heightened, however to prevent backlash, we guard, to prevent integrity loss and allow truth dissemination I wrote. I hope the experience helps.
