Heaven is definitely different from their perspectives: in the new children’s book by author Candy Myers, Angels From Above, child guardian angels are excitedly bounding around the peaceful, cloud-filled environment of heaven. The angels from heaven also take time out of their eternal fun to watch over humans on earth, seeing them show God’s love to others. Yet, these angels are still learning about their assignments from God through teachings from the archangel Gabriel. Their lessons include reciting favorite scripture verses that show we are all created by God, created for a purpose and that God is omnipresent. Angels From Above also shows the young angels’ enthusiasm in knowing Jesus as God’s gift to them, the sacrifice of Jesus to prove God’s love and trusting in Jesus. The book is filled with several important scripture verses to help children learn the Bible and see it relate to their daily lives.
