'Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,' (Revelation 5:11 NKJV).Angels were created by our Father God before the creation of the earth, before the Garden of Eden, and before humans. Angels actually witnessed all of creation and they were overjoyed to see it unfold (Job 38). These beautiful, intelligent, glorious and mighty angels are worthy of study.Angels have had serious roles in Old Testament history including guarding the Garden of Eden, mediating the Laws of Moses, leading the Israelites out of Egypt, and bringing food to God’s servants. Angels conveyed messages to people throughout the Bible, announced the birth of Jesus, released the apostles from prison, strengthened those who were weary, and ministered to Jesus before the cross.Many do not realize that in modern times Angels continue to work for mankind. These secret agents have different roles to carry out God’s purposes. Angels may be messengers, warriors, guardians, or ministering spirits. There are angels solely created to worship God and there are angels who are charged with protecting God’s most precious creation and helping us attain our destiny.My goal is to get young people and adults to ask God to send angels when help is needed here on earth and to pray for Psalm 91 angel protection.
