Angelos Odyssey: Volume One sets the architecture for a much larger series revolving around several unique characters. Their stories are told from their own points of view while an overarching narrator guides the reader through a world in the process of rebuilding itself. The primary protagonist is Tavon, an assassin who only uses his fist to eliminate targets as he strives to move up within the Angelos Association. As he progresses, his interactions with an interesting assortment of characters and companions begin to define him.Brock, failing in his career as a paramedic, is confronted with either selling himself off as a mercenary in the massive Citadel (known as the City in the Sky) or enlisting once again in the Citadel's military.Aaliyah, a brilliant investigator for the Dawn Bureau and excellent markswoman, finds herself torn between protecting Tavon and protecting her position as a public servant.Silo is an android who's undergone plastic surgery to disguise himself as the morally bankrupt playboy CEO of a social media corporation. And Raiko, the final beginning lead character, is only a confused teenager who can't decide between following in Tavon's footsteps or chasing and attempting to define the meaning of what a hero is meant to be.

Stuart Evans’s first novel is a comedy-of-ill-manners set in a nouveau riche milieu: a fantastic satirical performance and hyper-referential homage to masters past and present. Paul Keller is the Stephen Dedalus of the piece, the son of Robert and Sylvie, whose internal monologue is spliced into the action, and whose incestuous feelings for his sister lead to an increase in his...
