Die Komplikationen in der frühen postoperativen Phase dieser Pathologien variieren in einem weiten Bereich von 9 bis 77 %, was die funktionelle Effizienz der chirurgischen Eingriffe verringert und bei 13 % der Patienten zu wiederholten Eingriffen zum Zweck der Rekonstruktion des Magen-Darm-Trakts führt. Die Wahl der Behandlungsmethoden unter Berücksichtigung der pathogenetischen Mechanismen und die Verbesserung der chirurgischen Taktik ist derzeit eines der wichtigsten Probleme der Medizin, um schwere Komplikationen bei angeborenen Fehlbildungen zu vermeiden.
