Le mode d’hospitalisation ambulatoire dans la chirurgie pédiatrique a connu un essor considérable ces dernières années. L’objectif de notre travail était d’évaluer les pratiques de prise en charge anesthésique de la chirurgie ambulatoire pour la population pédiatrique au CHU FATTOUMA BOURGUIBA DE MONASTIR et de proposer des actions correctrices pour pallier aux insuffisances constatées.Notre enquête met en évidence un défi persistant lié à la gestion de la douleur post- opératoire chez les patients pédiatriques. En mettant en exergue des lacunes précises, cette enquête ouvre la voie à des recommandations pour des actions correctives, avec pour objectif constant d’améliorer la sécurité des patients et la qualité des soins prodigués.
