The Seyfert family has been embedded in Saxony, Germany for centuries. Leading back to the Holy Roman Emperor, Charlemagne. For the most part, ancestral lines can be traced back to the 1500s, the extent of the parish registers while at least 2 lines can be traced back to 1100 through Charlemagne, King Charles II of England, and King Louis of France.
