Ce travail propose une réflexion sur les raisons pour lesquelles ce carrefour reçoit un volume de trafic élevé et propose une solution techniquement viable au problème à court et moyen terme. Pour ce faire, il a fallu évaluer le cycle des feux de circulation du carrefour principal et de ses abords, connaître les débits du carrefour principal et de ses abords, et proposer des alternatives pour réduire la densité et les temps de parcours. Le travail a révélé la nécessité d’actions impliquant des partenariats entre les gestionnaires et la communauté locale, car chacun est responsable de la sécurité des personnes qui l’entourent.
