Il rapido emergere e l’evoluzione delle fonti di energia rinnovabile, come l’energia solare, sono diventati una componente vitale dello sforzo globale per soddisfare il fabbisogno energetico del futuro. Le maggiori preoccupazioni per la generazione fotovoltaica continua sono le condizioni di ombreggiamento parziale (PSC), i punti caldi, il tasso di degradazione, i pannelli fotovoltaici bifacciali, ecc. Questi fattori determinano un aumento delle perdite di disallineamento del fotovoltaico, una diminuzione del fattore di riempimento e dell’efficienza. Una delle soluzioni più semplici è rappresentata dalle configurazioni fotovoltaiche. Per questo motivo, in questo libro sono state implementate le configurazioni Series Parallel (SP), Bridge Link (BL), Triple Tied (TT) e Spider Web Tie (SWT) sul sistema fotovoltaico KC200GT da 200 W. Viene analizzato l’impatto di vari fattori come le condizioni di ombra parziale, i punti caldi, il tasso di degrado, i pannelli fotovoltaici bifacciali. I controllori MPPT ottimali SMA e PSO sono valutati per tutte le configurazioni SP, BL, TT e SWT. L’efficacia della configurazione Spider Web Tie (SWT) è valutata rispetto alle configurazioni Series/Parallel (SP), Bridge-Link (BL), Triple-Tied (TT).
