Em particular, a investigação do espetro de famílias de operadores de energia correspondentes aos Hamiltonianos de sistemas de uma, duas e muitas partículas quânticas em redes é muito importante. Estes estudos incluem a localização do espetro essencial dos operadores de Schrödinger discretos, a obtenção de condições suficientes para a existência de valores próprios (energias de estado limite) fora do espetro essencial.Esta monografia pode ser utilizada por matemáticos, por aqueles que trabalham no domínio da física matemática, ou seja, na teoria espetral de operadores auto-adjuntos, na mecânica quântica, na física do estado sólido, na teoria quântica dos campos, em particular, na resolução de problemas relacionados com o espetro de Hamiltonianos de sistemas de duas e três partículas numa rede.
