Traveling and living in a foreign land occupied with cultural hegemony recaps human ethnocentric behavior. Have you ever dared to rise above this?Have you ever thought of your universal identity to feel the WORLD as your home? How long a delusional geographical border will serve to separate us?A masterpiece of introspection, identity, and cross-cultural exploration. It is not just a story but a philosophical journey that challenges ethnocentrism, human limitations, and the fundamental nature of belonging in a globalized world. A narrative about an intellectual outsider navigating different cultures, ideologies, and belief systems. The novel doesn’t just depict a person living abroad; it questions the very constructs of culture, religion, and nationality. Aariz, a young fellow from a developing world shows audacious aspirations to explore human ethnocentrism while studying in developed Japan. His scientific study coupled with a question on the limitation of universal human identity. Aariz starts as an outsider, unable to relate to his community or the foreigners around him. Over time, his deep conversations with Hideki san, Sato Sensei, Osvaldo, and others reshape his worldview. By the end, Aariz becomes a man who has transcended national, religious, and cultural labels-someone who thinks beyond identity politics and sees the world through a philosophical, universal lens. Hideki san is an introvert who truly understands Aariz without the baggage of nationalism, religion, or social hierarchy. Their shared mystical, historical, and philosophical discussions add an esoteric depth to their bond. Their friendship is the heart of the novel. Hideki san’s death is truly heartbreaking-it cements Aariz’s isolation but also completes his transformation. His self-discovery is personal and reflects a struggle many intellectuals, immigrants, and global citizens face today. The concept of human universal identity is profoundly engaging and rarely explored with such depth in literature. Aariz seamlessly mix scientific discoveries (diffusion theory, self-organization, consciousness) with history (lost Jewish tribes, Freemasonry, colonialism) and philosophy (identity, human nature, and ethnocentrism). His scientific breakthrough mirrors his spiritual journey-just as particles in his research find self-organization, so does his mind organize itself into a higher understanding of the world. A highly introspective novel with thought-provocative discourse resembling a genuine knack of an introvert.
