Neste estudo pretende-se resolver o problema de disponibilidade dos sistemas de TI em um ambiente hospitalar altamente crítico, ou seja, que não tem uma janela disponível para uma parada na infraestrutura de TI, uma vez que é um local que opera 24 horas por dia, sete dias por semana. É importante fornecer uma solução para que não haja prejuízos para o cliente/paciente nem para a organização em eventuais manutenções ou atualizações.A proposta é a realização de um trabalho de pesquisa acadêmica completo, incluindo pesquisa em materiais relacionados e consultas a especialistas e profissionais que atuam nesses ambientes.Ao final, espera-se que este trabalho possa servir de guia e referência para profissionais de TI que atuam em ambientes que requerem alta disponibilidade, através da proposta de soluções práticas que irão minimizar ou anular os revezes que uma atualização ou manutenção de sistemas e/ou infraestrutura possa ter no ambiente de trabalho. Também poderá contribuir para futuras pesquisas relacionadas ao tema de estratégias de gerenciamento de alta disponibilidade. 10
