Mit der vorliegenden Publikation wird ein Beitrag geleistet zur Diskussion um die Telearbeit in Deutschland. Im Zentrum stehen die Befunde des Forschungsprojekts 'Telearbeit und Zeitökonomie. Die Auswirkungen von Telearbeit auf die Gestaltung von Arbeit und Freizeit'. Es geht um eine empirisch gestützte Bestimmung des Stellenwerts neuer Arbeitsmodelle, insbesondere der alternierenden Telearbeit, die den Beschäftigten die Integration des häuslichen Umfelds in die Erwerbsarbeit ermöglicht. Die Ergebnisse der Studie vermitteln Einblicke in den Lebens- und Erwerbsalltag von Telebeschäftigten und lenken den Blick auf die Umfeldbedingungen der Verbreitung dieser Arbeitsform.
