The rug had been pulled out from under Anna's feet. Her world had been turned upside down, she wasn't wanted on her degree course, her family wanted her bedroom for her brother's girlfriend's twins and her best friend told her she never wanted to see her again. She headed off, alone, in her Mark 1 Mini into the unknown. Taking temporary work to supplement her savings she managed to support herself whilst trying to decide what to do next. She also met a lot of people who seemed to be in greater need of help than she did. Helping them sort their problems enabled Anna to find her own place in the scheme of things.
