Alma bulímica explora el ambivalente mundo de Josefina Infante. Desde sus raíces místico-castellanas hasta la América profunda descrita por Walt Whitman. De su pueblo natal en Burgos, pasamos por Sabadell con las connotaciones que eso lleva en el alma del emigrante y de ahí a su inmigración a Nueva York. De Nueva York continúa su deambular por las tierras de Wisconsin, con la que la unen lazos familiares. Viajera incansable se detendrá en otros paisajes: Key West, Big Sur y Sacramento son algunos de esos lugares. En sus versos hay alusiones a Hemingway, Henry Miller, Poe y Maupassant. Nos paseará en los coches del Gran Gatsby y Elvis Presley por las carreteras de Wisconsin y la ruta 66 a ritmo de acordeón durante una celebración de Oktoberfest en Wisconsin. Estos son solo algunos de los escenarios que nos describirá la autora en este poemario. El alma de Josefina Infante se transmuta, adapta y plasma con nostalgia poética los muchos lugares que recorre dándonos fe de la enfermedad que afecta al hombre contemporáneo con la globalización y cómo esta afecta a su alma bulímica.
