All Rage Blaze Light, Anna Jacobson’s third fiery illustrated poetry collection, is for anyone who has ever needed therapy from their therapy. Join Anna in escaping darkrooms to become a colour artist, dancing with pianos resisting magnetism, surviving rentals on the same street as your therapist’s office, becoming trauma’s apprentice, learning to say: don’t tell me how to breathe, crossing through yellow lines to paint with golden thread, and above all, witnessing how words and art can heal and provide solace. Traversing emotional registers with sharp observation and wit, Anna’s poetic voice is experimental in style and form as she powerfully navigates and connects moments with light. Sharing recognition and an understanding with readers about the frustrations of seeking help, this blazing poet digs for agency.Anna Jacobson is an award-winning writer and artist from Brisbane. The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

    Edward V Bonner
The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....
