Alba de Céspedes (Roma, 1911-París, 1997) sigue siendo una intelectual poco conocida en Cuba, donde se la asocia con recurrencia a la figura del abuelo paterno, el patriota Carlos Manuel de Céspedes. Más allá de la reconstrucción biográfica de su vínculo personal, intelectual y político con la isla, en buena parte a partir de fuentes primarias hasta ahora inéditas, se aborda su escritura de tema cubano -y en particular su proyecto inconcluso Con grande amore, suerte de memorias literarias ligadas a la historia de la nación- en un acercamiento minucioso que abre nuevos derroteros de investigación desde los diálogos transatlánticos y la crítica cultural.Iledys González (La Habana, 1989) se doctoró en 2017 en Ciencias de la Documentación, Lingüísticas y Literarias por la Università degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza. Ha sido profesora de Literatura Española en la Universidad de La Habana y editora de la Editorial UH. Sus áreas de interés académico son fundamentalmente los estudios transatlánticos y de género.
