الصومال دولة تبحث عن قيادة استثنائية عمل تحليلي مثير ومعمق يستكشف المشهد السياسي الصومالي، ويغوص في رحلة البلاد نحو حوكمة تحوّلية من خلال دراسة النظريات المعقّدة لانهيار الدولة والتحديات الفريدة للقيادة في الصومال، مسلطًا الضوء على حياة وإرث شخصيات محورية شكّلت الثقافة السياسية للأمة، من أول رئيس وزراء ذو رؤية عبد الله عيسى (1956-1960)، إلى القيادة المثالية لأول رئيس لجمهورية الصومال آدم عبد الله عثمان (1960-1967)، والإصلاحات الجريئة التي قادها عبد الرزاق حاج حسين خلال رئاسته للوزراء (1964-1967). يحلل الكتاب العقبات الأساسية التي تعرقل بناء الدولة الصومالية، ويقدّم تحليلاً نقدياً لثقافة النخبة السياسية التي أعاقت التقدّم، كما يطرح المؤلف رؤية جديدة وشاملة لإعادة بناء الدولة، مرسماً مساراً مختلفاً لمستقبل الصومال. سواء كنت باحثًا في السياسة الإفريقية، أو صاحب قرار يتعامل مع الدول الهشّة، أو قارئاً شغوفاً بفهم تحديات القيادة العالمية، فإن هذا الكتاب يشكّل مرجعاً مهماً يقدّم رؤى ثمينة حول ماضي الصومال وحاضره ومستقبله المحتمل، : الدكتور عَبْدُ اَلرَّحْمَن مُعَلِّم عَبْدِ اَللَّه (بَاْدِيَوْ) باحث متخصص في التاريخ الحديث والمعاصر، حاصل على درجتي الماجستير والدكتوراه من جامعة مكغيل في كندا، وهو أحد المؤسسين لجامعة مقديشو ورئيس مجلس أمنائها. كما أنه ناشط في المجتمع المدني، وعمل سابقًا في الخدمة العسكرية حتى حصل على رتبة عقيد في الجيش. يعمل الدكتور عبد الرحمن حاليًا كمستشار أول لشؤون المصالحة والسلام في رئاسة الجمهورية، بالإضافة إلى عمله كمحاضر لطلاب الدراسات العليا فيبرامج الماجستير والدكتوراه، ومشرف على الرسائل العلمية. ألف خمسة كتب منشورة باللغة الإنجليزية وترجم بعضها إلى اللغة العربية وكتب العديد من الأوراق البحثية والمقالات الأكاديمية المنشورة : المترجم سيد عمر معلم عبد اللهباحث متخصص في التاريخ الحديث والمعاصر، تخرج من كلية التاريخ بجامعة مقديشو وحصل على درجة الماجستير من معهد البحوث والدراسات العربية التابع لجامعة الدول العربية في القاهرة عام 2006م. في السابق، عمل محاضرًا في جامعة مقديشو، ولاحقًا أصبح مستشارًا لمكتب رئيس وزراء الصومال في الشؤون العربية، ثم مستشارًا لوزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي في شؤون تنمية السياسات والدبلوماسية في الصومال. ويعمل حاليًا كدبلوماسي في وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي في الصومال.
