Sobre IBD

Agua, derechos humanos y gobernanzas busca ampliar la comprensión del nexo entre estos tres elementos a partir de la integración de una serie de categorías transversales como la bioculturalidad, los conflictos ambientales y la democracia ambiental. Desde allí, formula un mecanismo de evaluación de la gobernanza del agua con el enfoque de los derechos humanos, un mecanismo que sirve de marco analítico y que puede ser aplicado en diferentes niveles de la gestión del agua y también en otras modalidades de la gobernanza (climática o de bosques). A partir de la aplicación del mecanismo de evaluación al sistema de gobernanza del agua en Colombia, se formulan hallazgos y propuestas en clave de aportes al fortalecimiento de la democratización del agua en nuestro país.
