This book is the story of my struggles after major medical problems that landed me in the hospital. I share the huge challenges I faced trying to recover and get my life back on track. After going through multiple operations and long stays in the hospital, I found myself in constant pain and unable to do even basic everyday tasks. It was a really difficult and scary time, both for me and my wife who was by my side through it all.I had to relearn how to take care of myself and rebuild my strength. It was a slow and frustrating process, filled with setbacks. I had to fight with insurance companies to get the care and treatments I needed. There were times when I wasn’t sure I’d ever get better. But with the unwavering support of my wife, I kept pushing forward. We traveled to find the right doctors and therapies to help me heal. Little by little, I started regaining my health and independence, though it was an uphill battle. This book captures the raw emotions of that recovery journey - the pain, the doubt, the moments of hope, and the incredible value of having loved ones to lean on. It’s the story of how I learned to redefine my life and find joy in the smallest victories, after facing such enormous challenges. My hope is that sharing my experience can help others going through similar struggles.
