El hecho religioso vuelve a ser un tema de mucho interés y de debate social en la República Bolivariana de Venezuela en el siglo XXI. Los cambios sociales y políticos en el ámbito nacional e internacional tienen mucho que ver, pero también en el desarrollo de la propia sociedad venezolana y las transformaciones que en su seno se producen por el cambio global de las creencias. Desde la perspectiva de la etnohistoria espiritual afrovenezolana el Afropluralismo religioso y la religión, Venezuela es muy diferente a como era hace una década y se enfrenta a recordar está diversidad. El nacimiento congénito de los dones y leyes espirituales de los africanos traídos como esclavos, influyeronde manera significante en los curanderos afro venezolanos y actualmente en la cultura política y religiosa afrovenezolana del siglo XXI. Así expreso, que los afrodescendiente desde África con sus conocimientos ancestrales sobre la espiritualidad hoy día conocida como afro espiritualidad, puestos de manifiesto en nuestras tierras donde se conformaron muchas comunidades afro venezolanas, nivel así como surgió la política afro latinoamericana, afro hispanoamericana y afrovenezolana en este nuevo milenio.
