《二郎故里话今昔》是在原《海西史话》的校本教材的基础上，接受了开过课的任课教师与学生、学校校本教材专家评估组的老师的建议进行修订，对原来的编写体例进行调整，增加了灌南特色文化的盐文化、二郎文化、地方神曲、淮扬小吃、根雕艺术，具体用一条主线、三条分轴线构成了课程的基本框架，即一条主线：二郎文化滋润了灌南大地上辉煌灿烂的文明，传承二郎文化精神，培养我们热爱家乡、建设家乡的朴素情感；三条分轴线：历史政治篇、发展经济篇、习俗文化篇；全书分为八个章节，每个章节重新由专人负责，具体分工如下：嵇道鑫负责专题一、汪伟建负责专题二、袁鑫负责专题三，嵇道鑫负责专题四、尹来成负责专题五、孙海涛负责专题六、袁鑫负责专题七，嵇道鑫负责专题八，另外嵇道鑫、汪伟建、袁鑫三位老师为审稿做了大量的工作。本组在编写中查阅了大量的资料，参照了山东高密实验中学的校本教材《夷安史话》的部分体例和相似的内容，另外特别要感谢卜星光老人，校本教材大量引用他编写的《灌南文化史鉴》的史料。毋庸讳言，由于时间仓促、资料不足等客观因素，加之我们能力有限，本教材难免会存在错误或不当之处，敬请各位领导和老师批评、指正！
