This book is a call for revolutionary ideas, but they are ideas that Jesus used when He ministered here on earth. God is calling forth Believer Businessmen and Businesswomen Owners as functioning apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers in the business venue to activate Believer Business Employees for the work of ministry. The work ofministry is as kings, priests, lords, ambassadors, and soldiers in the kingdom of God. Jesus used both scholastic teaching and kinesthetic training of His apostles. Every Believer are ministers who have the same vocations but they have diff erent gifts.Jesus was a businessman, as a carpenter and stonemason. When Jesus was kinesthetically trained as a carpenter and stonemason by His step-father, Joseph, He lived with Joseph 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; and He became a carpenter/stonemason journeyman, but throughout he was scholastically taught the Old Testament scriptures and He distinguishedthe falsity of the religious hierarchy of the Sanhedrin. He started being trained by Joseph at the age of 10 years old, and when Joseph passed, Jesus trained His half-brothers, James, Joses, Judas (Jude), and Simon and made them journeymen carpenters and stonemasons. So, Jesus was a business owner as a journeyman carpenter/stonemason for 20 years, and He went into full time ministry at age 30. His ministry lasted 3½ years when He died on the Roman cross. Jesus used his preparation as a carpenter and stonemason to scholastically teach and kinesthetically train His apostles by living with them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.Believer Business Owners are with Believer Business Employees 8 to 10 hours a day 5 to 6 days a week, and they follow the pattern that Jesus used in training His disciples. With that training Jesus’ apostles activated both men and women throughout the known world in a few decades. A 24/7 interaction with His apostles was Jesus’ pattern to train them to be His witnesses around the world (Acts 1:8). Jesus did not set up a priesthood/laity system that we have in the warehouse church centers which are run by priests, bishops, pastors, teachers, and reverends. Believers are taught that coming to the building (often referred to as 'the church') is all they are required to do while they are alive here on earth. Yet, all Believers have the same Vocations, which are kings, priests, lords, ambassadors, and soldiers in God’s kingdom. However, all Believers have diff erent Gifts.

We’ve been duped into removing prayer from the center of our churches and have placed it on the periphery or semi-periphery.  What we’re witnessing today in our churches, and in society at large, is that legacy of prayerlessness.  Church leadership may be hesitant and embarrassed to admit it, but there is a direct correlation between our spiritual weakness and our lack of corpo...

If God is good, why do we get sick? When God created the world, He declared: "It is good." But then came the Fall, and with it sickness and death. In this heart-tugging monograph, Dr. Davis McGuirt draws from both his training in theology and the personal agony of watching his father die from cancer to provide a variety of biblical reasons for why we get sick. We are also remin...
