Los escritores bilingües crean múltiples universos de sentido. Se dividen y multiplican en distintas tradiciones y, desde esa grieta de su escritura, interpelan los archivos demasiado identificables de las literaturas nacionales. La distancia más corta entre Gangotena y su otra lengua no fue la geográfica, sino la simbólica: Francia le fue más próxima que los Andes. Este inquietante bilingüismo español-francés trae a colación una serie de cuestiones sobre la monolengua, el fundamento traductor de la poesía hispanoamericana y ese tercer espacio que abren los lenguajes de escrituras liminales y dislocadas. Cristina Burneo Salazar se doctoró en Literatura Latinoamericana por la Universidad de Maryland. Ha publicado El sueño de Pierre Menard (2001, Premio Nacional A. E. Pólit) y editado y traducido Dar piel (2016, entrevista colectiva a Jean-Luc Nancy). Además de su investigación sobre poéticas del cuerpo y escrituras bilingües, trabaja desde el feminismo como columnista y cronista. Actualmente prepara un volumen de ensayos sobre mujeres y lectoras anómalas.
