Ziel dieser In-vitro-Studie war es, die Genauigkeit von vier Abformtechniken für osseointegrierte Implantate zu bewerten. Die in dem Versuch angewandte Methodik mit zwei Messverfahren ermöglichte eine umfassendere Betrachtung der verschiedenen untersuchten Techniken und damit eine bessere Beurteilung dessen, was in einer klinischen Situation auftreten kann. Die Ergebnisse zeigten auch, dass die Fehlausrichtung zwar gering war und unter dem Durchschnitt anderer Studien lag, dass diese Fehlausrichtung aber dennoch zu Spannungen in der Suprastruktur führte. Die Suche nach neuen Abformtechniken und neuen Materialien könnte Gegenstand weiterer Untersuchungen sein.
