In world literature, the theme of feminism has emerged as an important literary theory that has been concerned with women’s identities and diverse issues at various levels. This book includes stories written by women of that era who made a high place in the forefront of Urdu short story writers with their literary taste./بیسویں صدی کے اولین چوتھائی دور تک بھی عورت کو ضروری آزادی نصیب نہ ہو سکی تھی پھر بھی عورت نے اپنی اہمیت کا لوہا منوانے کے لیے ہر شعبہ زندگی کی طرف قدم اٹھایا حتیٰ کہ میدانِ ادب میں بھی کسی سے پیچھے رہنا گوارا نہیں کیا۔ اس کتاب میں اُسی دور کی خواتین کے لکھے ہوئے افسانے شامل ہیں جنہوں نے اردو افسانہ نگاروں کی اولین صف میں اپنے ادبی ذوق کے حوالے سے بلند پایہ مقام بنایا۔
