'The Noble Rebel' is a bilingual poetry collection in both Myanmar (Burmese) and Rakhine (Arakan) languages, published in commemoration of the 44th birthday of the author on March 4, 2025, containing 44 poems, composed in the wake of the February 1, 2021 military coup in Myanmar, aiming to reflect the times and support the resistance movement. The book captures and honors the solidarity and unity of medical professionals from four different medical universities across Myanmar, who stand together during the Spring Revolution. It serves as a symbol of collective resistance among the revolutionaries during this period. Each poem in this book represents a voice from the hearts of the Myanmar people who are resisting the military dictatorship through various means. The poet-using the pen name The Noble Rebel-articulates those silenced voices through verse, transforming their pain, hope, and determination into poetic form.Additionally, the book includes poems, writings, and guidance from a senior revolutionary figure (the poet himself) dedicated to the new generation of revolutionaries. Through these pieces, he shares his experiences in the long journey of resistance, turning personal and collective struggles into literary testimony. The author, Dr. Nyo Twan Awng, is a Rakhine (Arakan) national and a prominent leader of the ULA/AA (United League of Arakan/Arakan Army). He is deeply passionate about literature and continues to write poems, essays, and articles to support the Myanmar and Arakan people’s revolutionary cause.Whether as a printed book or an eBook, 35% of the proceeds from the sale of each copy will be donated to injured revolutionaries who have made personal sacrifices-physically or otherwise-during the Spring Revolution.'Just as every human has the right to be a poet when it comes to love and matters of the heart, everyone also has the right to be The Noble Rebel when it comes to revolution.'

But Steffens' dogged quest for truth and justice set...
