तफ़्तीश जारी है" - Tafteesh Jari Hai, (Investigation Continues) by Kalpana Singh (Kalpna Singh-Chitnis) written in the Hindi language was first published in India in 1993 by Kadambari. The 25th-anniversary edition of this book contains all original poems from the first edition with an introduction by Gulzar, and a new preface by Uday Prakash. Kalpna Singh-Chitnis is an Indian-American poet, filmmaker, and Editor-in-Chief of Life and Legends. She is the author of Bare Soul and three collections of poems in Hindi. She is the recipient of the "Naji Naaman Literary Award for Creativity" (2017), "Rajiv Gandhi Global Excellence Award" (2014), "Bihar Shri" (Jewel of Bihar) (1988) and "Bihar Rajbhasha Award" (1987). Kalpna Singh-Chitnis participated in the "Silk Routes" project of the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa from 2014 to 2016 and studied "Buddhism Through Its Scriptures" at HarvardX. She has published her work in notable journals like World Literature Today, California Quarterly, Indian Literature, Pirene's Fountain and others. Her poetry has been translated into many languages.
