Creative inventor Brute` Hogrich has been rejected by the parents of his true love, Blossom Porker, because they consider him a ne`er-do-well. A severe storm hits the hamlet, and for seven days it is pummeled by cataclysmic winds and rain, which threaten the lives of all its citizens and all the wealth they had acquired over the past three years.As the storm unleashes its devastating wrath upon the hamlet, the hogs also suffer the consequences of the much-debated municipal building project, a project which has sparked significant changes in residents’ character, resulting in extreme emotional conflicts among community members. Brute` and the other Hogland inhabitants must collectively decide whether they will allow their community values of charity, creativity and good will to be replaced by avarice greed and pride.
