O objetivo deste livro é partilhar os resultados obtidos na investigação realizada na Faculdade de Ciências Exactas e Naturais da Universidade Nacional de Mar del Plata, relativamente aos conhecimentos e dificuldades sobre aspectos básicos da Trigonometria dos alunos que estudam Álgebra no primeiro ano das licenciaturas em Química, Bioquímica, Física e Matemática, bem como a abordagem ao tema da Trigonometria feita pelos professores do sexto ano do ensino secundário nas suas aulas durante a pandemia. Apresenta também uma sequência didática relacionada com o tema para o sexto ano do ensino secundário.Por outro lado, é relatada uma experiência em uma turma de primeiro ano da Faculdade, utilizando o GeoGebra, cujo objetivo é reafirmar conceitos relacionados às propriedades dos módulos e argumentos dos Números Complexos (assunto no qual são aplicados conceitos de Trigonometria).
