Being a Christian is easy only when life is easy. When a tragedy strikes, our faith is tested, and the One in whom we trust becomes our only source of encouragement and strength. Is it enough? Does He keep His promises? Can we find Him in the darkness and chaos? We got that 'dreaded phone call' telling us our son had been in an accident. We started praying before we got out of the door. That call started a journey to a country road, an area hospital, and then airlifted to a trauma center. There the real journey began. God knew before we did. He would walk us through step by step (if we would listen)... He would use this for good, if we let Him. He would teach us more about who He really is. The journey we took with Craig taught me/us many things. This book is God’s story about Craig that we want Craig to never forget. Craig was in a coma at the beginning. Many little things showed God’s presence and sovereignty.things He did to change things, encourage us, and show Himself to those watching. Later, He helped Craig sort through his questions. We are to 'walk by faith and not by sight'. (2 Corinthians 5:7). Craig’s mom,Linda I grew up on a farm in a small rural community. When it wasn’t possible to achieve my dream of becoming a teacher, I 'settled' for a job as a Licensed Practical Nurse, working the first six years in an Emergency Department. I married and had two sons, hoping to live happily ever after. My heart and soul was to be a good mother and wife. Then life happened. Our two sons each faced a life-threatening situation and God gave each a miracle. Just a Mom, Linda Tegeler
