Atualmente o comportamento humano possibilita a ocorrência de acidente de trabalho em um alinha de produção, e algumas ferramentas da Manutenção Produtiva Total (TPM) com base no pilar de segurança, suportam o desenvolvimento da cultura entre os trabalhadores de uma indústria. Porém o sucesso da técnica não depende somente da empresa, mas sim da aceitação e aplicação por parte do trabalhador. Este trabalho teve como objetivo empregar a ferramenta de observação de comportamento dos trabalhadores, nomeada de boletim de observação de segurança, de uma empresa do ramo de alimentos localizada na cidade de Bauru, com base no pilar de segurança do trabalhador e meio ambiente da TPM, explorando o comportamento humano comparados com o histórico de acidentes do ano de 2016, a fim de se estabelecer um plano de ação nas oportunidades de melhorias encontradas. O método aplicado no trabalho foi desenvolvido com base no raciocínio indutivo, com dados colhidos de uma linha produtiva de 3 turnos de trabalho no regime de 8 horas trabalhadas, durante 6 dias na semana e 10 trabalhadores. Os resultados mostraram os comportamentos seguros e inseguros evidentes na cultura de segurança e no dia a dia.
