The Book- Major Rodney Brown, invalided out of the Army, finds himself in an independent section of the British Secret Service. Their remit is to deal with matters that do not fall neatly into the Foreign Office or the Home Office or that neither Office wants to deal with. As ever, the Major’s nemesis Brigadier Carl Tsygankov, KGB, retired has much to answer for.The Author - Roger Bensaid spent twenty-four years in the Army and a further seventeen years in the gas and oil industry before becoming a specialist consultant for twelve years, which took him to many parts of the world and into conflict zones. He was often working in support of the British and other Armed Services, one way or another, for which he retains the highest regard. His life work took him to the Far East. Middle East, Central America. Russia, Afghanistan, Somalia, Equatorial Guinee, Kosovo and Azerbaijan, The Delta etc. rich reservoir of experience to draw on. His children; Julien, Christian and Chloe have now grounded him. No more adventures except at the keyboard.
